cornea scarring

I had to have a tiny piece of metal removed from eye with a very tiny drill. the doctor told me the piece was right in my line of vision and that it would scar and most likely blur my vision. is there any type of food that will reduce corneal scarring?

thank you for your concern but some how some way my eye has miraculousy cleared up and i can see fine now. when i first left the doctors office it was blurry and stayed blurry for a few days. I read on the net that Vitamin E & C was good for the eyes so i immediately bought some OJ and Vitamin E tablets. Dont know if that helped but i see fine now. just thought i'd add that, but again thanks for your concern

Vitamin B5 reduced a very old scar an my hand. I have no idea whether it would work for the cornea. In my case it was after I was supplementing with B5 (for an adrenal problem) for about a year that I noticed the scar on my hand disappearing. I surfed the net and, yes, B5 reducing scarring. You should know, however, that I was taking 1000 daily. There were no side effects, other than the reduction in the scar.

im not an ophthalmologist but i don't think there is. However, i do know that there are some procedures that can minimize it but some are still not approved.
