gall bladder problems

just had gall bladder removed aug 17th, 2010. 4 days later i still have excessive pain that vicodin does not handle. i cant sleep from constant rolling in different positions to get comfortable. im gassy.. im walking to try to alleviate pain...still there..where they went thru belly button ..it is extremely painful and bloated..i look like im  pregnant at 55 right side pain is constant...any suggestions...im tired of hurting

You should schedule a followup with the doctor. It sounds like you could have a hernia coming through your naval; this can happen with laproscopic surgery that cuts through the muscle there. Can be extremely painful and cause your bowels to stop moving (hence the gassiness)

Weren't you prescribed any pain medication?

My wife had the same problem you have to keep walking often during surgery the doctor puts a gas in the area to keep organs apart so the DR. can remove the bladder your body has to ex spell the gas
