"Elevated thyroid antibodies are often associated with chronic urticaria, also called hives. Studies report that as many as 57.4% of patients with hives have the presence of anti-thyroid antibodies. An August 2010 paper suggests that treatment with T4 improves the itching associated with urticaria, but did not advise treatment with T4 unless the patient was hypothyroid." - excerpt from Life Extention - Thyroid Regulation

Thyroid antibodies - thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPOAb) and Thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb).

There are a number of human clinical trials published in medical journals that shows selenium lowers thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPOAb).  Selenium works at the genetic level to reduce levels of antibodies that attack the thyroid gland. A Chinese study on laboratory mice determined that the trace mineral inhibits the genes that produce the attacking antibodies. You can try selenomethionine supplements (200 mcg per day) or a few brazil nuts per day. Brazil nuts contain around 50 - 70mcg per nut depending on how much selenium was in the soil.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center research study has determined that patients with chronic hives may benefit by supplementing with vitamin D.  The researchers found patients with chronic hives had significantly reduced levels of vitamin D, with nearly half of them considered to be vitamin D deficient.  Try 1,000 to 2,000 international units (IUs) daily.  The vitamin D council state optimal vitamin D levels - 80ng/mL or 200nmol/L.

Other causes include:

Food allergens such as milk, cheese, egg, protein products, wheat, cereals, peas, orange, fish, chicken, artificially flavoured food articles, salicylates in fruit, azo dye food colouring agents, benzoate preservatives and other food additives

Gluten sensitivity/Celiac disease (a gluten free diet has also been reported to lower Thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb) in some people)

Alcohol

Exciting factors: pollen, house-dust, buffalo dander, fungi, change in temperature etc

Infections and infestations: bedbugs, wasps, bees, mosquitoes, flies, and certain kinds of caterpillars; fungal, protozoal, frequent bacterial infections (urinary tract), viral infections (hepatitis), helminthiasis (worm infestations such as round worms, tapeworms), H Pylori bacteria; dental abscess and candida (thrush)

Synthetic products:  deodorant, perfume, talcum powder, cosmetic products, animal derivatives, and similar synthetic substances

Emotional factors such as emotional stresses

Systemic and general disease - hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, lupus, polycythaemia, reticuloses

Extreme cold, heat, pressure

I can't guarantee it will work but give it a try!
I recommend unpasteurized, organic raw honey. Pasteurization diminishes the nutritional and healing powers of honey. But nothing surpasses Manuka honey when it comes to healing. Manuka honey is derived from honeybees in New Zealand that have been fed exclusively from the manuka bush. It has been extensively researched at the Honey Research Unit at New Zealand’s University of Waikato.

The phytochemicals found in Manuka honey place it a class above ordinary honey. It contains “unique manuka factor (UMF),” which is non-hydrogen-peroxide antibacterial activity. (It’s not understood exactly why, but not all Manuka honey has it.) Manuka honey is rated for its UMF content from zero to 16, with 16 found to confer the most benefits.

Manuka honey is exceptionally active in fighting many bacteria such as Staph aureus, a common skin bacterium implicated in most skin wounds, and E. coli, a gut bug. Another gut bacterium it fights is H. pylori, which has been linked to peptic ulcer disease (PUD).

Beyond fighting bacteria, Manuka honey is just as useful for combating sore throats, diarrhea, and last but not least, skin wounds.
Just to prepare you, Manuka honey costs about $34 per jar. But it’s so effective. Learn more about it and order a bottle for yourself. Go to
