Right side paralysis

My dad is suffering from frontotemperal dementia and recently undergone keyhole surgery for blood clot.Now he is not able to move his right arm and leg.Is it due to surgery or due to dementia??Can this be cured?? will physiotherapy help?? thanks in advance

It would be th eDoctor Forum, after you click on forums it says Doctor Expert Forum , as I dont know whether its heart or stroke, you will have to go down the list of ailments and put your question in. Sorry I cant be of much help,your question seems to be a medical one.
