I AM 56 AND FEEL LIKE I AM REALLY LOOSING MY MIND. I CAN'T REMEMBER MY KIDS NAMES GRANDKIDS ,& SOMETIMES EVEN MY HUSBANDS. I USE TO BE VERY GOOD IN MATH AND NOW I CAN'T EVEN DO SIMPLE ADDING AND SUBTRACTING. PEOPLE TELL ME ABOUT THINGS THAT WE'VE DONE TOGETHER AND I DON/T HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. LATELY I'VE HAD SOME REALLY BAD HEADACHES AND HAVE HAD SOME BAD VERTIGO BUT IT ONLY LAST FOR A MINUTE OR SO. SOMEBODY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats good to know isnt it, I definatly believe that meds we have to take affect us and hace side effects so I guess you have to go with the shots then when they are done your memory will get better ,why do you take 2 cholesterol drugs? ask if you can take one.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY. YES THERE ARE TWO CHOLESTROL MEDICINES THAT I AM ON. THEY BOTH CAN BE CAUSING THE HEADACHES AND VERTIGO. I HAD SOME BLOOD WORK DONE AND IT SHOWED A BIG VITAMIN E DEFIENCY AND I AM TOLD THAT IT WILL AFFECT THE MEMORY PART OF THE BRAIN. DOCTOR HAS ME GIVING MYSELF AN INJECTION EVERY WEEK FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS. SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T KNOW HOW MUCH DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE BUT WE ARE ALL HOPING THE INJECTIONS WILL HELP SOME OF THE MEMORY LOSS.

I am sorry you are having a hard time ,does this happen all the time or is it only sometimes you forget their names? I think we are all like that at times, are you taking any meds,/I have noticed in my life that some prescribed Meds can affect your memory so check out what you are taking..even some supplements can do that. It may be that simple, if you are not taking anything it may be good to get a check up, if only to put your mind at rest..good Luck let us know how you are doing,
