Forgetfullness

About 2 1/2 years ago I started having strange episodes of quick strange feelings in the right side of my head, not pain so much as a quick dizzy spell and they were gone in less than a second and only happened about every 2 or so weeks.  Then one day at work I had a huge "electrical feeling" shock in the same place in my head that went straight down my body.  I almost went to the floor and my blood pressure went sky high for several days.  I didn't go to the doctor as I have no health insurance :-(
Anyway, now I have periods of driving and totally not knowing where I'm at or where I'm going, also putting things in strange places and forgetting things I've always known, as in the words to the Lord's Prayer and my son's name!!!  It all comes back in time but it is very scary.  I'm thinking some kind of brain problem from the "attack" at work.  I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus.  Can you help me determine if I should risk running up a doctor/hospital bill that I will never be able to pay all of or hanging on until September when I will get Medicare??

Thanks Evan.  I'm almost there, but then I run into another problem, the $115 to pay for Part B.  I tell ya, if it's not one thing it's another.  Getting older sure isn't for whimps!
Take Care-----November will be here before you know it and your right, it is a gamble!
