Is it ok to fly with chiari and a clipped aneurysm?

Hello, I am supposed to be flying in a few weeks, and wondered if it is ok to fly with chiari and an aneurysm, my aneurysm was clipped however I do have another small one that is not, I have some csf flow restored after two decompressions and a syringomyelia all the way down my spine. I remember being warned not to fly before my first aneurysm surgery, just making sure im safe.

If it was only successful clipping at issue I suggest you'd have no difficulty based on others reporting similar situations and flying, however you have complicating factors and I concur with skydnsr that your Doctor should answer this question.

I let your post sit here for a few days before answering, because I don't know the answer to your question, and obviously it does no good to post a response without any useful information.  Since you have not gotten any other answers so far, though, I will just say that I think you are going to have to ask your own doctor about this.  Especially since you do have an unresolved issue with the smaller aneurysm, I think you need advice from an expert who can speak to your particular situation.  There may not be a universal or "pat" answer.  Asking your own doctor is the best bet.  Since you evidently were not told that you can never fly again, I think the chances are good that flying will be approved for you, but it is better to be safe than sorry.  This is just a very specialized question, and the answer could be different for different people.  Good luck.
