very scared and in alot of pain

A yr and a half ago I started out with an ear ache. My family doc at the time after seeing me on several occasions sent me to an ent. He said there was a thickening in my throat  and should be checked for thyroid problem. Also said I  some kind of saliva gland was dehydrated I needed to drink more water. Had thyroid checked 2x's said had a small problem nothing to worry about or take meds for. Almost 2 yrs , earache(all on left side) is still there, headaches in bach all the way to top of head, temple pain, nausea,sweating and clammy. Now my left eye is starting to see double verticle, only happened 2x's but this is scaring me. Have a bad back and I am taking a lot more pain meds than usual but really isn't helping. Signed up for massage therapy but after 3 visits my signs ,neck and earache is worse. I have had 2 T I A's and had my complete neck checked for any clogging. One doctor said it was "all in my head" I am getting scared as I have 1st cousins that have died with tumors on their back, neck and brain. Had a very bad spell tonight and was thinking of going to hospital. I am on disability. I have fibromyalgia, I have had trigeminal neuralgia but this is different and has not let up, my vision has scared me. I have plenty of pain meds for my back and also am on soma, this is not what I want, I am very worried. Sweats, clamminess and nausea is also getting more frequent.

After my anurism, i started getting severe ear aches, & heavy doses of pain med. did not work. It spread to other ear! Went to a small ER hospital & told them it felt like insects in my ears.(also flies were hovering over me) Dr. said, well we have flies! I told them , ya, maybe by ur windows or garbage! Finally, i looked over at my oxygen tanks, & turned them on at 7-9 liters. 3 days later i was able to get out of bed, & buy a fly trap, & got better for a while. I will cut out all of the hospitals that poisoned me with neuroleptics. I now have demylinateting disease. Myelin sheath damage. No cure. I do not want to worry u, cas this did take many years of toxix poisonings from car paints, n carbon monoxide poisoning. It is something u might want to watch out for in the future though! PS. I never had a mental illness. It was physiatrics! A lot of doctors get the 2 mixed up. Just something to think about. I am not a doctor! Just a sufferer. Wish u the best!

If you have sweating, clamminess and nausea along with headaches, then ask for round the clock monitoring of bood sugar and blood pressure and heart rate. Often, problems with these cause symptoms of headache, vision problems etc.

The other possibility is benign intracranial hypertension’(BIH). This happens due to impaired CSF absorption. The headache is usually felt in morning and at night and is aggravated by straining, coughing or a change in position. This headache is accompanied by various neurological symptoms such as dizziness, numbness, loss of vision, blurring of vision and other visual problems, loss of hearing etc, all of which are temporary.
