chest pain on right side
I have been having on and off squeezing chest pain on my right side. This has been going on now for about the last 21 hours or so. Its very sharp, lasts for about 5 to 7 seconds and goes away. Any idea what could be causing this? I am 34, overweight, I do smoke, and I do have hypertension.
I have this problem 2 sometimes atleast 1 times in 4 months

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to comment on the situation. This could be a rare presentation of angina or could occur due to other causes such as pleuritis, respiratory tract infections/ inflammations, neuro-muscular/ GI causes etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician at your earliest convenience for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
