A couple questions about my dog

Hello!
My little Lexi is doing a couple of weird things that I thought I should ask about:

She has a bit of a cough.  She had it back in October/November, so we took her to the vet.  Her chest sounded clear, and everything checked out, so the vet thought it could be a little bit of kennel cough.  It went away after a couple weeks, and all was wel.  It seems to have come back in the last week or so.  Lexi has some contact with other dogs on her walks, but not very much.

She has also been doing this "snorting" thing.  My sister says they do it to clear their noses out, if something is trapped in there.  She will force air in and out of her nose very rapidly and loudly.  It's hard to describe.  Hope I did a good job!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Be sure your dog has been vaccinated for kennel Cough as this is quite common and a hacking cough is the cardinal sign in an otherwise, apparently healthy dog.

An Herbal Canine Cough remedy you might consider that is helpful to relieve coughing associated with Canine Kennel Cough is Slippery elm and the dose is 5ml which is the equivalent of one teaspoon by mouth, as needed.

Should your dogs cough continue, checking in with your vet would be warranted and chest x-rays along with a complete blood panel would be helpful to determined the underlying cause of the canine cough.

She was vaccinated last year just before  summer.  The vet said that might be why the cough wasn't so severe.

Thank you for the reply! If it doesn't go away very soon, I will get her back in to get checked out.   I can't let anything bad happen to her!
