Kitten injured

My sister has a new kitten, I'm guessing about 6-7 weeks old.  Last night kitty accidentally got caught up in the workings of an elliptical walker, which squeezed her really hard.  So hard that poop came out of her rear.  She seemed fine after the initial yowling, but I'm still concerned.  Is there anything we should watch for or anything we can do to help her in her recovery?

This sounds like a horrible and very sad accident.  Internal injuries cannot be seen therefore please take her to the vet ASAP!  This question really fits into the emergency category!
