Ask your veterinarian for a topical miconazole solution. You can dab this medicine on topically on the lesions between the baths for quicker results. Thanks for the update!

Thanks for your response. We just brought him in today and it was ringworm. He came from, exactly as you mentioned, a multi-cat home just before we adopted him a week ago. As per the vet, we'll be bathing him then applying a sulfurated lime solution once a week. We did it for the first time a moment ago and it was horrible for him (and us). Wish he could just enjoy his warm bath!
I would bring your kitten back to the vet and have a skin scraping performed ectoparasites such as notodectes, scabies, demodex, etc. I would also ask the vet to check for ringworm. Many of these problems are not itchy, but can be zoonotic, which means that they can be transmitted to humans. They are very common in recently adopted cats who have come from a multi-cat situition.
