BULL DOG FOR XMAS!!

Hi....yes furball I Love my kitties...........I love dogs too but just don't think I could manage one now that I no longer live out on an acreage like I did for years...had a Shepard and a Basset Hound of all things...we got her out and away from a breeder, she had had many litters and was time for her to be pastured out..so we took her and she had a good 6 years with the luxury of roaming the acres and did she ever love those gofers....would spend her day woofing at the holes with her nose stuck in as far as it could go.....we always knew where Connie was...could hear her woofing!!

Anyway onto bullies.....I being gramma...get to babysit my grandaughters bully for an extended holiday...and my cats sure aren't impressed whenever I have to do that..lol.
Marley is a doll but definitely a stubborn 'bully'...she will NOT bend to your wishes..its her way or no way!!

Its funny...she is a small bully...only abt 30lbs(?) and Sami is my big strong alpha male kitty...I have to keep his litter and his food in the master bedroom because he will NOT leave...Marley has been here for as long as 10 days and Sami refuses to come and check her out....Marley would love to play...cute.
While Nemo who is a much smaller kitty and much more timid...has gotten to the point he will not be a chicken he gingerly comes out and does his usual house check and snoozes on the couch...funny their personalities.
This time I have her for maybe as long as 3 weeks...my daughter and granddaughter a taking a trip to Cancun before Xmas and since they live a few hours away its just easier to keep her here until after they come for Xmas.
So it will be interesting here for quite awhile...maybe Sami will wonder out??

I will keep everyone posted on the escapes at our house!...I am truthfully afraid if Sami ever does come out the poor Marley may get a lickin??

oh watching these animals and their antics is so much fun isn't it....each their own personality and so darn hard to predict!!
Poor chihuahua....being mistaken for a rodent and he only wanted to play...I'm afraid thats the same with Marley the bully she is alone at home so much that even cats would be welcome playmate....so too she'll run and yelp, if only she'd just sit quite Sami would step on by but if she starts that running and yelping he'll go at her!
could be very interesting household!!!   LOL

Poor dog may be in for a lickin' alright.  I love all kinds of animals myself.  My mother used to have an Affenpincher and a teacup chihuahua.  The Affenpincher could care less about the cats in the household, but the chihuahua loved playing with the big tabby.  The only trouble was that the cat's instincts would take over and the dog would go running and yelping, because he was so little that the cat would sometimes mistake him for an oversized rat.  Well, he did sort of look like an oversized rat.  The humans would have to rescue the chihuahua from the cat before he became the cat's prey, because the cat would take his play time to the next level so to speak.  It was sort of funny, even though I was concerned that the cat would get carried away and go for the jugular and his instincts would kick in.  The chihuahua actually liked that cat, too.  He just didn't like being thought of as prey.  What's funny is that they would often end up snuggling together to take a nap together.  The cat didn't mean anything by all that getting carried away with play time and the dog knew it.

I bet if Sami wanders out of the master bedroom that the poor dog is going to get what for and Sami is going to show the dog who the real boss is around the house.
