9yr bulimic/anorexic; am i dying? continued...

... As i stated before i cannot stop the purging.. for i feel sick if i do and end up throwing up regardless... i do not binge so that is not an issue.. i am rarely ever hungry anymore  so i do realize i am starving myself involuntarily now.. everyone around me is oblivious to my dillema. I do not want them to know... honestly im not sure i want to stop my dietary habits. how do i find out what is wrong with me ... doctors  prescribe me pain meds and send me on my way, stating they are unsure of the origin of my symptoms. can someone help me before its too late. i do know i do not want to die.

Dear mysteryrashplzhelp,

You may think everyone is oblivious.  My guess is that those around you know, even if it’s just subconsciously.  You need to seek help from eating disorder specialists to get the help you need.

As I am not an expert I do not know if you are dying but about the purging even when you dont really want to, try pepto bismal after your one meal, it keeps you from feeling physically ill after eating. Thats what I had to do to help me in my recovery from bulimia Good luck!
