Help Please

Wow I have been looking and looking for a free forum and I'm too chicken to go to an actual doctor. When I can't sleep I will general get up to do homework but I'm tired so i need energy so i binge on chocolate until i feel sick then i purge. Is that considered Bulimia? and if so what should i do? (I don't have the money to go see a psychiatrist and i'm too chicken to ask my doctor for a referral)

Since you are in school, most high schools and colleges have free counseling departments and groups to help through difficulties.  If you binge on large quantity of chocolate and purge often along with gaining self esteem from your body and more you could be bulimic.  Visit the bella vita website and take our free survey and read on the criteria and symptoms of bulimia to learn more about you.  We also discuss treatment options.  Best, Dr Patricia Pitts  The Bella Vita Los Angeles, CA and Woodland Hills, Ca

i don't know if this is Bulimia or not. I guess it might depend on your other daily habits, your self-image, excercise habits, etc. When you're bulimic sometimes you'll convince yourself that youre sick and have to throw up, and sometimes you'll purposefully eat so much that you know you'll get sick. Only you can answer what you're intentions are when start putting chocolate in your mouth. I can tell you one thing: If it makes you sick, stop eating it! What you're doing, whether it's bulimia or not, is very harmful and can cause long-term damage to your throat and stomach, among other things.
