MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
I hear your great fear about a possible large weight gain carrying twins.  However, now more than ever is NOT the time to vomit, use laxatives, use diuretics, etc.  I urge you to speak to your OB/GYN about your purging behavior and swelling concerns.  Electrolyte imbalances can cause grave consequences to you and your babies, even death or miscarriages.  Out of control eating has a deeper root,  there is help and hope!  Seeking psychological support for your binge eating, pregnancy issues, underlying issues and overall concerns would be helpful now.  To learn more about eating disorders, visit the bella vita website.  Wishing you the best,  Dr Patricia Pitts  The Bella Vita Los Angeles, CA
