I just saw this particular discussion and wanted to say Way to Go!! You should be so so proud of yourself! That's amazing and keep up the good work with your recovery!
Thanks for the information, I will look into those options. I am now 12 days b/p free and the headaches have gone away, thank goodness!
Thank you for replying. I don't have health insurance so I can't get blood work or anything like that. Today I haven't had any headaches yet (fingers crossed) and I'm not feeling bloated after meals anymore so maybe my body has adjusted now. I will try drinking more water to be safe, and try my hardest to remain b/p free.
It could be your body adjusting to your food intake. I doubt that is a bad thing, but if it continues for a while I would mention it to a doctor. Especially if you develop other issues. If you haven't already you should get blood work done, and maybe a few specific tests as well. If your doctor knows your past they should have a good idea of what you need checked. As your body gets healthier and adjusts your headaches should get better. Try to stay hydrated and drink enough water. I hope you succeed in your recovery, bulimia isn't worth it.
Good for you! The body does need time to adjust to healthier eating and letting go of the binge purging cycle. In some cities, there are free health clinics. Also, there are free bulimia support groups through ANAD, eating disorder groups, OA bulimic groups. Keep reaching out for help and support!
