When I suffered from migraines many years ago a very wise doctor recommended meditation to me. Seemed silly, but I finally did it, and it's been forty years later almost and I've had three migraines. For what's left, I take natural remedies and they work fine for it. Might be worth a try.
I have the migraine auras also and they can be quite unnerving. I don't think that any of the antidepressants should exacerbate your auras. I would suggest you talk to your doctor about taking a beta blocker or a calcium channel blocker that acts like a vasodialator. I was prescribed bystolic for a completely different problem and it really helped decrease the auras.
I should add that I am currently taking Xanax which works quite well and doesn't seem to exacerbate my migraine auras. I've been taking it for quite a while.
