Anxiety / teeth

Hi
Would love some help .
Most of this year I have experienced strange teeth sensations and had lots of unusual dentistry , 2 removed , 5 root canals ,the last two I had done ( lower right ), seem to feel as though they are big , slightly burn at times and my tongue can't stop feeling them along side wanting to thrust other teeth that had treatment .
I started to develop terrible anxiety to go with it , felt frightened and sleep was terrible .
X-rays show no problems !!
GP has given me Anatriptyline 10 at night to start ( this helped immediately ) last week at dosage raised to 10mg during day as I started feeling symptoms again , they seem to be subsiding again , when that happens my anxiety feels better . I fear for it returning again , confused of what it is my dentist has no idea either .
I am so great full for medication but frightened of future , what it is and it's return .
Has any body experienced any thing like this ?
Dentist things a type of burning mouth syndrome although certainly not common burning mouth symptoms , or nerve issues . So much dentistry in one go and anxiety not helping .
I was in a terrible place but medication has given my life back ,  just don't want to be back where I was .
Nine months of hell ...
Wish I could be permanently free from it .
Love to hear from others with simulator / same issues
Please help

I answered you on your other post, but did you have all this done by a regular general dentist, or from oral surgeons and endodontists?  Regular dentists are doing everything these days but they aren't usually very good at it.  A specialist gets really good at surgery because they do it all the time, and what you had were surgeries.  And as I suggested, I think you need a CT scan, not X-rays to see what's going on.

And with that much dentistry in one year, your nerves are probably going to keep bothering you for awhile -- I've got a root canal I got a year ago and the nerve below the tooth is still inflamed and may hurt forever.  I've had teeth pulled that hurt for over a year.  Some of us just have very sensitive nerves.  An antidepressant isn't going to make that go away, though it might help your anxiety.
By the way, if you want to chat since we're both in a similar situation, you're welcome to private message me.  Won't make the pain go away, but maybe we can complain together.

You have had dental work but grew anxious, so the GP gave you Anatriptyline to calm you down at night. Does your dentist say he has finished and your teeth have no problems?

This isn't understandable. "Dentist things a type of burning mouth syndrome although certainly not common burning mouth symptoms , or nerve issues .

Dental work complete , but lower right teeth have burning sensation , dentist thinks it is burning mouth syndrome and nerve issue which is leading to anxiety .
He has communicated with my GP and both felt anatriptyline would help this situation .
