Anxiety Buddy in Maryland?

looking for someone in Maryland that would like to form a friendship to support each other through anxiety/panic attacks.  I started have dizzy, confused, anxiety, panic, fear of leaving home attacks back in may after a reaction to antibiotics I was taking.  I blacked out in a restaurant and was taken to the hospital...it was traumatizing and has changed my life for the worst.  I need a partner that shares my problems to understand and listen to help get over this and get my life back. Please help me

I wish I could suggest support groups, but I live in northern Virginia, and found none here.  Maryland tends to be more progressive -- maybe there are some support groups where you are.  They're easier to find than one individual.  Good luck, and keep posting, almost neighbor (of course, with my level of anxiety, we might as well be on different planets, but oh well).

I see a therapist and he suggested an anxiety buddy to help push each other

You need a therapist, not someone to obsess over it with.  This site will help you vent, and having a bud is great, but you need a professional who can push you to get better.
