Anxiety Symptoms Driving Me Crazy!!

Hey everyone :)
I've had anxiety that started after a friend was killed in a car accident when I was 17 and I have managed with it fairly well..... until now.
A year and a half ago my best friend passed away unexpectedly after being sick for awhile, turns out all her meds they had her on did not mix well together. I was shocked after she died that my anxiety stayed away but I think I am paying for it now with a whole new set of symptoms I have never had before

My Symptoms Are:

Tingling scalp
humming noise sometimes in right ear
weird vision ( almost seems distorted sometimes)
pressure/ headache at the base of my skull
really tight neck and shoulder muscles
arms feel REALLY heavy and sore
shaky
stomach pains that come and go around my belly button
crying at the weirdest times or laughing at inappropriate times
cold sweaty hands and feet
constantly thinking I have some hidden illness that my dr is missing and im going to die

these are all new for me, im usually a panic attack type of person and its really throwing me off that I feel like this yet  I don't have any panic attacks (which is probably a good thing) is this normal?? im not on any medication, I have never filled any of the prescriptions given to me for anxiety as after what happened with my friend im terrified of medication, im also sleeping well which is odd for my anxiety too usually im up fidgeting all night long but this time around I can sleep for hours. Anyone else experience any of this???

I have experienced all of your above symptoms! I'm not a doctor, but I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder with OCD. I completely obsess about anything I feel, and it just makes it worse. It started for me really bad after my second son was born. I've been on Zoloft, and would highly recommend taking something! If you don't take any other medications regularly then you won't have to worry about the mixing of drugs. I've been told by two doctors and a NP, that those meds are completely safe, and that Zoloft is the lightest of them all. Hang in there, it will get better! I tried therapy, but it wasn't very helpful for me. They wanted to focus on blaming someone for making me anxious, and I just wanted to focus on getting better!  ! Take care!

I'm not a Dr so I can't diagnose you. I can give you my opinion though. It sounds like generalized anxiety disorder and possible depression to me.
Have you thought about therapy? It can really help with your anxiety and possible depression.
