Anxiety and 24/7 burping and gas pass.

Hello to all.I was a high nicotine user for 4 years(smoking nd other forms).Then 4 months back,I got panic attack(1st of my life),felt like i was dying.And felt very very bad,breathing prob etc. Doctor said its bronchitis,DAT DAY I QUIT SMOKING COLD TURKEY,(NO NICOTINE SINCE THEN TILL DATE).Doc gave meds,and within 15 days,bronchitis was over.But then i went thru nicotine withrawal.Heart palpitations,strange tingling sensations,fatigue etc. In 1-2 months,most of d physical prob were over,but then came depression and ANXIETY.Its been 4 nd half months now and i still hav anxiety.Its ruining my life,I want it to b over,but dnt know how.I keep getting burps/belchs all day 24/7 and actually burping gives kind of relief sensation.I also keep farting.Dont know if its anxiety causing this or THESE BURPS INCREASING ANXIETY.i need advice guys. PLZ,i wud greatly appreciate it.

Hi , anxiety is new for me also, last year I had my first panic attack after receiving a steroid . I can relate to the belching and gas, it will go away, it's you're nervous system affecting you gastrointestinal system. You must meditate, find free guided meditation online, practice abdominal breathing/relaxation breathing, even if it feels hard at first, stick with it, I don't know if you are religious , but pray.. It helps, my panic is gone, I still have one annoying symptom left ( derealization) and that isn't as pronounced either.. So I'm assuming it's almost gone, and exercise ... I don't know if you have a therapist , but this is very helpful also

First off, congratulations on quitting smoking. That is no easy task and you must ensure that you give yourself credit for it.  Through all of this, have you discussed your anxiety with a counselor?  Anxiety and panic (especially in the beginning) is both confusing and scary and it can be difficult to make sense of it all.  Just talking it over and learning about it gave me the tools to confront it.
