I was hypnotized years ago, and although it worked well at the time, I should've followed up w/a booster every once in a while. If you find out anymore info on this, can you let me know? thanks!
I am interested in hypnosis but wouldn't even know where to look for a qualified one. When and if you find a good one can you let us know how it goes?
Thanks!
hypnosis was the only thing that really helped my daughter function.........it takes a series of sessions, like 5, and then a "booster" every once in a while. The guy was good, though, who did it. A very good psychologist specializing in forensic psychology, and a professor as well as a private practitioner. I think each person responds individually. It's worth a try, if it works. Anything is worth a try, right?
I had one session of hypnotherapy with a therapist with alot of credentials and titles and degrees. It did not help me. It was not what I expected and went in a direction I thought was useless.
A friend of my mother has tried it, and apparently it helped. She suffered/suffers from depression. Hypnosis can't usually be done the first time, nor second, especially if you have lots of anxiety...But with time and patience, It can be done. Just check that the person is a LICENSED hypnotists, with a medical background. That's the most important thing.
Im thinking of going to one, but not anytime soon. First I have to be sure of what I have.
