Hi, I agree with Alsky, do take ur Ativan at ur worst and it does get addicting, nd u don't want to just rely on the meds if ur able to control ur attacks...deep breathing, go for a walk, meditate...it's mind over matter...But if u do take ur meds as prescribed, that's up to u, just remember it gets addicting, look up the side effects...my Dr. prescribed me Xanax nd I dnt take it very often, nd I take half of .5mg only if I need it real bad, but other than that, it's all in ur mind...do something to distract u from thinking or feeling that way.  Take care nd keep us posted.

TAKE YOUR ATIVAN AS PRESCRIBED......it will help you.  If it doesn't and the panic is worsening, let your doctor know ASAP, he will know what to do.  Medication can control this and make you feel so much better, for many it has given us our lives back. It may be that you need a longer acting anxiety medication, so talk to your doctor so you can get your life and happiness back!  Take care.

ativan helps  but you need to be careful because you can get addicted to it.      Save the Ativan for the really bad times.     Try deep breathing,  exersizing    go for a walk....you need to take your mind off your problems.      Go read a book or watch some t.v.---anything to break the cycle !

ddrinking calming teas are good also
