Anxiety...

So I have had this moving sensation for just about a year now... I have had many tests done and seen 5 different doctors with in this last year, I always feel dizzy / lightheaded (24/7 it *****) there are days I can't eat cause I just don't feel like it or it makes me feel sick to my stomach (Nauseated). My sleeping is wonkie I will admit that but I still get my 7-10 hours of sleep... I normally wake up around Noon, but near the end of the day I feel REALLY sleepy (Maybe a good thing?) I do wake through out the night sometimes sweating sometime feeling as if I have to puke :(, I am on Welbutrin right now and just started the 300mg today. Is anyone else on this medication for Anxiety?
Also how does one figure out what is causing the lightheaded / dizzy feeling from anxiety and how to stop it.... I do not wish this on my worst enemy, I can at least get up out of bed and move around the house and what not but if I don't have to I won't just cause the feeling of being dizzy ***** (I don't need to hold on to anything for fear of falling over) does anyone else have these dizzy lightheaded feelings all day every day? or is it just me?
Like I said before I have had tests done on my including, Blood work, Blood pressure, ECG.... everything comes back clear and the doctors all say that I am a healthy man and have no need to worry, its just anxiety.
How is it possible for it to just be anxiety, making me feel this dizzy feeling waking me up at night feeling nauseated weak exhausted ext..... I hate this and I want my old life back were I can eat when ever and what ever I want to with out feeling nauseated or being woken up in the night from the nauseated feeling, I try to figure out what may have cause this but I just can't put my finger on it....

You can't expect someone who hasn't experienced prolonged anxiety to understand it, although if you are lucky a spouse will. I knew mine would mock me so kept it all inside when home, but sought out all the info I could get from my pharmacist and doctor until the meds did their job.

Anxiety is not always easy to deal with so it is good that you are on meds in case you aren't able to figure out how to relax naturally. I was never able to get any use from meditation until the Celexa kicked in and I was relaxed, however you are different and may get some use from it first. It is important to try to work it out naturally as you are doing with the meds and attempting to change your feelings about the little things going on that you are worrying are big things.
The good thing about anxiety is if you are able to stop worrying about something then the anxiety around that issue disappears and you will wonder afterward why you used to be anxious about it. Keep working at it and write back as often as you want.

The sweating is classic anxiety where you are so worried that something is wrong that your body makes you sweat and then you really THINK there is something wrong. But there is nothing wrong with you that is making you sweat, just anxiety.
You won't get much relief from Welbutrin after 2 days so be prepared for 6 weeks for maximum effect. The drug builds up in your brain and IF it works then there is enough in there to help you relax. Kind of like a long vacation where day by day the layers of worry slowly disappear and after a while feeling good is so natural that you forget what it was like worrying. At present though you are in the opposite pickle, worrying for so long that you can't remember what it feels like to feel relaxed.
I took Wellbut for 8 weeks and could not get a good effect but when I switched to Celexa I got relief in weeks, so do not be discouraged if the Wellbut doesn't help after 6 weeks because there are lots of alternatives.
If the doctor said your ears are fine then it is most likely no problem. I agree with remar that many who suffer from anxiety feel lightheaded, however that may just be because you are concentrating so much on body analysis that you are noticing things you would not have paid attention to before. Is it likely htat you also felt lightheaded before the anxiety problems atarted but just didnt pay attention to it because you didn't think there was anything wrong with you?

I haven't seen a Ear doctor or anything like that, the one time I went to the doctor I did ask about this to see if something was wrong with my ears, see looked and said everything looked great...
I did start the 300mg of wellbutrin 2 days ago but I don't think I would see any change that fast as I was on 150mg for a week before the 300's. I also have CRAZY sweaty hands and feet (Kinda gross lol).
Thanks for the reply knowing other's suffer the dizziness as well is reassuring (Sorry you all feel this way cause i can't stand it).
I try to keep my mind off it but its hard cause I feel this way... I guess just take it one day at a time, I have been thinking of meditating but haven't really found out how to do it properly (If there is a right or wrong on this).

Many of us that have anxiety also have the dizziness. Have you seen an ENT Dr to have your ears checked? If there's anything wrong with them it can cause dizziness.
Wellbutrin is one of the more stimulating antidepressants. It may help your anxiety but if it does'nt then see your Dr to talk about another med.
