Doctors just keep feeding me tablets it is really starting to take it toll on me anything that can help me please give me a reply thanks xxxxxx

I know how you feel, Its awful x Have you spoke to your doctor about therapy, You might benefit from CBT and counselling rather than medication. I take rescue remedy drops they are herbal and it just takes the edge off, you can buy them from most herbal shops (Holland and barrat) x

Sorry to hear.  What do you attribute the anxiety to?  Is it just generalized or are there triggers?  I think if you work on the anxiety, this may be your best course of action rather than just trying to get to sleep with sleeping pills.  It's hard though because lack of sleep can compound anxiety.  I get it.  Short term fix are pills and you may go that route but long term you have to investigate the anxiety more closely.  That's the root.  I agree with Paxiled that I'd look into therapy for sure.  Also, remember, women have hormonal things going on that compound anxiety and I find especially at night so start to chart if happens all the time or if it is cyclic.  Stay in touch and let us know how it is going!

Been to therapy?  You're right about the pills -- they sedate us but don't cure us.  Therapy has no guarantee but if it works you're back.
