Worry is taking over , please help

Hi everyone I have always suffered with intense worry, I will be returning to work on Monday after having a Christmas break and have a big work event in two weeks , I really can't cope with this at the moment :( I can't stop worrying can't think of anything else, I feel sick over this and it's really starting to take over already , I feel a failure , any help or advice on anything that would help out would be great , I'm also 4 months pregnant and 29 years old . Thank you

No I haven't seen a doctor but I will book an appointment ? I have always suffered with worrying since I have been young, but as I'm getting older it's so much more intense that it does take over , I love my job but the worry that comes with it Is so bad , but maybe any job I do I will be the same ? Today I have been so upset I haven't wanted to get up as I know the worry will be terrible and I get scared ( if it's not one thing it's something else x

Thank you so much for your reply , the questions did help and I do feel like I can cope at times, but then ten minutes later I go back in to the crazy worrying , it does control me to the stage I can't focus I feel a failure and just can't get through it , even though I know it's not the end of the world that doesn't matter as the worry is just taking over :(

Ask yourself and really think about these questions:
* What are you most worried about?
* What is the REALISTIC odds of it happening? (probably slim)
* Sure, it would be unpleasant if it were to happen, but could you handle it? (you almost certainly could).
