Hi Stacey,
I have been taking Cymbalta for about fours now for anxiety and I have to say that It has not been that effective for me, I am currently in talks with my Phychiatrist about changing it. They feel that I should stay on it for longer to see the results but in my opinion four months should be long enough for something to work if it is going to.
I haven't had any bad side effected from it apart from some stomach aches and although I am less anxious now then when I started the drug I think that that has to do with my mental attitude now rather than the drug being responsible for it.
A friend of mine is also on it for depression and her depression is now worse than ever.
I think that with all of these drugs it is a trial and error thing until you find one that suits you. This drug maybe the one for you but then again it may not but you wont know until you try it out.
Good luck

Cymbalta made my depression worse and made me pretty nauseated. But then, I never do respond to psychotropic drugs or antidepressants very well.
i took it for 2 months and had to stop because it made my anxiety worse. remember that all people are different and it may work for you. take care. remar
