Can Anxiety Cause Pressure In The Eyes?

For about 2 weeks now I have been experiencing pressure in both eyes like I am really tired but I get 9 hours of sleep every night and my body doesnt feel tired. Can Anxiety be the cause?  I know I have anxiety but I don't know if the pressure is a symptom.

i hope its just anxiety and nothing else i dont want to fall apart before im 25 lol

im not taking any meds at the moment but when i do start meds i hope that isnt one of the symptoms because lately it has been the worse one, its so much pressure that its hard to read!

wow that is very interesting because the pressure around my eyes just started a few days before my period maybe that is what is causing it! plus anxiety has been bad this month for no apparent reason

I also have anxiety and eye pressure.  I'm not really sure what the eye pressure is from but it definitely adds to my anxiety.  I always tell myself it's my sinuses.  And since i am hypersensitive to anything that is going on in my body even sinus pressure can create anxiety for me.  My guess is that's it's your sinuses.

I suffer from anxiety from time to time. But I also have pressure around my eyes and nose... and this is more than likely either stress related... or allergies/sinus pressure.

But I also live in Missouri... where pollen and **** is EVERYWHERE year round... so I'm kinda used to it...

but yeah, my bet is sinuses/allergies.

Also, if you're taking any depression/anxiety meds, these can affect the eyes too.

I get pressure too and I know mine is anxiety and hormone related.  It gets worse when my period is due.  Might be best to get checked out though if it doesn't go away.
