hey, yes anxiety can cause numbness in the limbs.
Ive been dealing with anxiety and panic for almost 2 years now and I can pretty much say that ive dealt with almost every symptom.
poor circulation runs in my family, therefore I experience the numbness frequently. just yesterday my left arm felt tingly then it went numb for a bit.
as much as its a pain to have i try my est nawt to pay attention to it, of course it eventually goes away.
so yes, this is normal anxiety symptoms.
its mostly from your breathing. make sure you arent taking shallow breaths. it happens to me durring panic attacks. i just try to do something else to get my mind off of it and it will eventually go away. it ***** tho once its happening but you have to just keep in your mind nothings wrong and it will eventualy end sooner than later. good luck
Numbness can also be a sign of poor circulation and or nerve damage... I am a diabetic and now have nerve damage and my left hand is numb.. I am waiting to go see a surgeon back surgeon on August 2nd.. I have a pinched nerve in my lower back and that makes my feet tingle and numb most days...
