No he hasn't.....however this is my lung doctor. I thought I would talk to my primary doctor to see what he has to say and if I can change. I appreciate your help.
Now I understand your Drs reasoning. Has he said if there's another AD you can take instead of Celexa that will not interact with Zithmyocin?
Thanks for answering. It seems that celexa can interact with zithmyocin which I take three times/week forever. Although I have taken both for a long time, "they" suggest it might interfere with each other and cause a reaction. The Dr, thought reducing the dose might be helpful. I am not just sure that reducing the dose will help but am willing to try.
Can I ask why your Dr is wanting you to reduce your dose? Are you not doing well on it any more or does he feel like you don't need it any more?
If I remember correctly Celexa comes in 10 mg doses? Possibly 5 mgs? Sorry, but it's been a long time since I've been on it. Cutting your dose in half may cause some withdrawal. It's really hard to say. You may want to talk to your Dr about doing this more slowly. Cutting down to 30 mgs for a while to see how you do and then cutting down even more if you're doing alright.
