Constant Unconscious Anxiety/Stress

I have been looking for help for my problems from doctors, but have yet to find any beneficial help.
The problem is I feel that Stress and Anxiety have greatly limited my mental cognitive functioning. While today there is nothing specific that would be causing these symptoms, throughout my life I have had numerous reasons to be exposed to these issue. I feel that my body is constantly stressed and anxious, no matter what the situation is.
I have great difficulty holding conversations. I have great difficulty thinking clearly. Poor memory at times.
I have a high intelligence, but an extremely low working memory percentile. I have acne/skin problems, but clean my face regularly. I sleep more then enough each night, but awake feeling lousy.
I have been taking anti-depressants for several months, and while slightly helping with feeling constantly depressed, have not helped with my working memory/tension/unconscious anxiety...
Is there a known treatment for this type of problem? suggested medicine or supplements? This has basically put a hold on my life and I feel I cannot progress until I properly address this issue.

No. Look into nutrition and excercies go to a naturopath or complementry medicine provider and get your nutrition levels checked. Then look into what you may not be doing that you should be.

Hello

I can hear what you are saying- you seem to have symptoms similar to myself.

I would suggest you look for a good therapist- that is one you feel comfy with, as there could seem like me, roots that need to be pulled up, or issues to be re addressed, you will be fine

You are taking medication for depression and depression and anxiety often go hand in hand. What you have been describing are some fairly classic symptoms of anxiety. My advice would be a return visit to your doctor to discuss what you have told us here. He/she is the only one qualified to diagnose your condition properly, and to prescribe medication that will address both the issues you talk about.
You may also want to consider some therapy to get at the root cause of both the depression and the anxiety. Medication will certainly help in the short term for you to deal with what is bothering you, but until you dig down and deal with the real cause, all you will be doing is covering it up. You sound way too intelligent for that.
Good luck and post any time. Like 7/11, we're open 24 hours a day sans the Slurpees!
