the internet is really scary, that's why when your anxious it's best to stay away! but yes anxiety can cause chest pain, especially if you are focused on it!! if all your tests came back fine then you should try your hardest to accept that! do you have acid reflux or gerd or anything like that? those things can cause heartburn/chest pain!! if you're still worried just talk to your doctor about it, tell them exactly what you wrote!!
The internet isn't an "it," it's an unstructured collection of everything anyone wants to say. Different sources have different ideas. If you find that knowing there's no consensus out there about many things stay off the internet, or at least don't do research on medical issues, because medicine rarely has a consensus about anything. The world is full of information, but very few facts. A lot of what we think we know is propaganda put out by organizations with an agenda or by companies trying to make money. The only true thing I can tell you is, if you don't like bad news or news that is murky, don't spend your time researching, because when you do you'll learn people can come to different conclusions about things. It is through that disagreement that we take second and third looks at perceived truths and often discover they weren't truths after all. This is how we learn and grow, but it's not for everyone. There is almost nothing in life that is 100% accurate. Those of us who suffer from anxiety forget that for most of us there was a time we didn't have this problem and didn't get scared by things the way we do after we become irrationally afraid of things and spend so much of our time obsessing over what we're afraid of. It's the nature of the disorder. If you want to be lied to so you're more comfortable, only talk to people who will reassure you, but on the internet you will find out, again, that people do disagree on things. In the meantime, I hope you're seeking out help for your anxiety problem so you can get back to living life instead of worrying about it all the time. On this forum we get it -- we all want life to be easier because it's really hard for us. But factually speaking, it isn't easy, and wishing won't make it so. Acceptance is what we all seek, not certainty, because the latter isn't attainable or at least not yet.
