Hello and welcome!
What an excellent question! In today's stressful world, it's very important for people to do whatever it takes to minimize stress, even if you don't have underlying anxiety.
Here are a few things I can think of off the top of my head...
----> When our bodies are feeling good, we usually feel good emotionally, so in turn, taking care of your body is very beneficial for stress management, for instance, getting a sufficient quantity AND quality of sleep, eating properly (including a healthy/balanced diet), staying active. Staying away from things like smoking, drinking, overindulging with food are a given. Minimizing intake of things like caffeine is a good idea.
---->Additionally, we have to set REALISTIC daily goals. If you work a job that requires you to stay late and work well into the evening, it isn't reasonable to plan to come home and gut your house for a remodel. Similarly, if you work night shift, planning an all day event after work isn't realistic, or healthy. When we set unreasonable goals for ourselves, we either get stressed when we cannot meet them, or we end up overdoing so that we DO reach those goals, which goes back to taking care of our bodies.
---->Having a consistent daily routine is helpful. People thrive with normalcy, and consistency. If your every day life is a mess, with no routine, no consistency, it leads to a feeling that you don't have control, and when we feel like we don't have control, it causes stress and anxiety.
---->Being kind to others, and in general, just being a good person makes you feel good. That can be things like holding the door open for someone, helping an elderly person load their groceries in their car, putting a dollar in the Salvation Army bucket. You get the gist. Giving and being generous makes us feel good, and ANYTHING that makes us feel good lowers stress.
I just did a quick search, boy there are a lot of articles out there about stress management. This one was exceptionally good:

Hope this was helpful to you, I know we can ALL benefit from this information!
For me having a long walk about 1h and listening to music same time makes me so calm and my anxiety won't act strong.
I find exercising, a nap, a soak in the tub or watching a movie alone helps me refresh my mind and minimize the stress. I guess it is different for everyone, but for me any or a combination of any of those does me wonder.
I guess it is different for everyone.Maby you could try to find what is relaxing you..like listening to music or hitting the gym? If you have a heavy amount of stress that you can not dismiss you should see a therapist I think.
