Death is one of the few most inevitable occurrences in our life. I think you are running a risk of phobia or something like that by thinking or dreaming about it. Don't be much anxious about it. Try to stay in a cheerful mood as much long as you can. You are not essentially meant to embrace such a painful luck earlier than you are destined. Just hold this belief in mind.
Yes I have and I'm telling as a person that has had anxiety for 12+ yrs they work. I had sum girl cut me n I ended up dying for a few n they brought me back. Hence why I'm scared of death after that my anxiety has been thru the roof n that was 7 yrs ago.. only thing I've personal found to help was those meds I hope u feel better hun
Ok. I get panic attacks. I have suffered my whole life.
1. Panic attacks won't HURT YOU. They are NO FUN, but they won't HURT YOU or kill you.
2. Anxiety is like waves. It comes and goes. The BEST THING you can do for yourself right now is find a psychiatrist to subscribe a DAILY med to even out the peak and valleys. They will still come, but not as often, not as strong.
3. GET YOURSELF ON A SCHEDULE! The best thing to help your selfs to start a "night time routine". This routine: example: dinner, shower, brush teeth, read or listen to a book, write in your journal (just example) The repetition sends messages to your body that it is time to rest. Time to calm down. BE STRICT ....even if your favorite TV show is coming on.
4. Talk to your ADULT PSYCHIATRIST (not a primary care doctor) about an "emergency med" like Xanax or something for the REALLY BAD attacks. Start taking it "on a schedule, then later wean off as the daily med kicks in (about 4-6 weeks) Just knowing you have the "emergency med" can be comforting. Example: Xanax (or generic brand) can shorten the length and intensity of a panic attack. This can allow you to get back to sleep and not have to be "in recovery" for days after.
5. Be gentle with yourself. With high stress or sudden traumatic events your may need to go back to a more STRICT SCHEDULE, follow your night time routine more closely and use your emergency med. but, maybe not. Attacks can be MUCH MORE MANAGEABLE with the daily med like Zoloft or Prozac. Only you and your Psychiratrist can find the right DAILY med & "emergency Med" for you.
Be Well. You are NOT alone in this. A better more happier life is there for you. hang in there, sweetie!!!
Have you tried those meds? I really need something to happen. I'm back at the ER now and can't shake this anxiety. I am thinking that I am having a heart attack and am dying. It seems to get worse and it consuming my life.
It seems as if your past traumatic experience is taking a toll on you. Most anxiety comes from when people can not face the bigger issue so they rely on things that are easy to think about. For instance in your situation it's death, but in reality your biggest problem that
is causing you to stress is losing your job. Yes people die everyday in plenty types of ways than acident. At night, when you sleep try your hardest to think of peaceful things. I for one pray at night before bed. It keeps me at peace and ease. Also in this anxious time you are in adopt a new hobby or find yourself through being more focused on you.
I'm like that alot just hits me out the blue think bout death n it al's scares me.. I just try to watch tv get on my phone focus on something else or I'll never sleep.. dk how long it will last I've been like this for a while.. maybe u should try Xanax or atavain ( sorry can't spell ) but think they work better then what ur on sorry not much help but at least ur not alone
