Depression

My husband is almost 61 yrs. old, had a triple bypass on 4/21/2011 and has returned to work. He has an ICD and it has shocked him on 2  occasions.After the first shock it was adjusted in the hospital and the 2nd occasion it shocked him 4 times. The last incident was caused because he was push mowing grass and ran his heart rate up too fast.Since the incidents he is depressed and lives in fear of another shock. I have read this is common, but can anything be done to help his depression?

I told my husband's cardiologist about the depression and anxiety and he ignored it. I have made an appointment with another cardiologist for him. He desperately needs help.
