Hello I am new here. Hope someone can help me. I have tapered of diazapan 19 days ago. Got awful anxiety. Also stomach feels like contractions is this normal. How long does it last. Thank you. X

If you had been using diazapan for a while and regularly, yes, this is normal.  Did you wean off of it? Tapering down the dose is the best way to go off it and lesson withdrawal.  https://www.verywellmind.com/benzodiazepine-withdrawal-4588452  It gets worse before it gets better in the process but you have to stick with it. Your brain will return to neutral.  How long it takes depends on how long you took it, how much and how often, etc.  So, give this a bit more time but it should even back out.  I'm sorry it is so hard and hope you have support?

Thank you very much. Yes did wean of it. I was on a high dose for about 2 months. Will that make it harder. Thanks again x

Two months isn't a huge amount of time, luckily but yes.  You still will likely have withdrawal and a higher dose will make that more likely.  I'm sorry to tell you that but the important thing is that it is TEMPORARY. Self care is important here
