Oh, okay.  Well, that is good that you've received some medical intervention in the manner of medication.  This is helpful.  Yes, you'd be wise to add talk therapy onto that for your best chance of 'curing' or overcoming anxiety.  best of luck to you

Hi there and welcome.  I'm sorry if you are suffering anxiety.  It's hard.  As to your question, does therapy cure anxiety--  well, that is not a simple question.  Anxiety is complex and every person is different.  I will say emphatically that the right kind of therapy definitely helps.  For some, that alone with suggestions from their therapist, that is all they need to combat anxiety.  For others, they may need medication as well.  So, definitely recommend therapy but that is a start to what may be necessary to 'cure' anxiety.  Wishing you the best of luck!!
