Ear pressure

When I wake up in the morning, I don't have any pressure on my ears, but throughout the course of the day, my ears start to feel really clogged. Usually when this happens I feel sort of out of it; it's like I'm confused or disoriented. It makes me feel like a drunken fool. I have trouble remembering things, my judgement is off, and so are my motor skills.     Is my situation unique or has anyone else experience similar--if not the same--symptoms?

Thanks for your reply! I haven't tried taking Benedryl, or any other pill for allergies. I will go out and get some Benedryl today. Anything is worth a try!

I have had similar issues happen to me. I use both (not together) a motion sickness pill  or benedryl to help. The combination of allergies with anxiety, ears clogging and not being able to hear myself made my anxiety worse. This happens a lot when out on the boat, as well as when I have to perform in front of an audience. Always check with your doc to make sure you do not have an inner ear issue or sinus issue.
