i know its tough to do when you are having anxiety, but a little bit of exercize helps out a lot. Just make sure you do it well before bedtime
Sorry danedane please disregard my above message. I tried to edit or delete but cant find that option. I am not a doctor and should not recommend any type of wean. Good luck to you
I don't know if this will help, but if you go to the E.R. and tell them what's going they will give you more meds ( if you think you need it) and they can sometimes refer you to a cheap or free psychiatrist, I had the same problem too. If your in Cincinnati I can give the name of a hospital that will help with that and meds. I hope that helps
Hi Dane. Don't do anything without first speaking with your doctor! There are generics which are extremely cheap and if you tell him your situation he will understand. But never take weaning off meds into your own hands, just like the medications, what works for one, doesn't for another. Wean off only under the guidance of your doctor. But you need to also think about whether or not you are able to be without this medication. You may feel okay now, but once it's all out of your system, your anxiety may be too much.
Talk to your doctor about this and go from there. Take care.
Do you think you still need it? Is there any other options at all? I am in Canada so dont have the health insurance worries and dont know much about that States. Are there not clinics that are free or something of the like. Here I can call my pharmacist and they will call my doctor for the refill so I dont even have to go in to see the doctor would that work? If you have to wean do it slowly. If you normal take 10mg then go down to 5 for a few weeks, once you have done that then break the 5 in half and do that for a few weeks and then stop. It really should be done under a doctors care but if you have no choice that is my recommendation. Good Luck and keep us updated
