When I have high anxiety I see floaters, stationary objects look like they are moving, flashes of light, objects in my peripheral vision seem to move extremely fast and some even more crazier things! I just except it's anxiety and ignore them even though they can be scary especially as I am a health anxiety sufferer. Don't worry your not alone it's just anxiety and stress.
It could still be vascular short of migraines is what I was saying, and the only way you'll find out if you can control it is to try. It's just a suggestion, because although I don't get migraines anymore I still get similar vision stuff, which is what I used to get before getting a migraine. But I never have gotten it all the time.
I haven't taken any yet cuz im scared to
How long have you been on the zoloft and how much are you taking?
Thanks for the feedback but how can it be a migrane if its all the time there's not one moment that my vison is not bothering me and I've been to doctors. There's nothing wrong I just really need answers and to know if this will get better cuz its only getting worse I can't take this anymore
The reason I asked about headaches is because if it turns out not be vision related it could be vascular, similar to what happens to people who get migraines, which is that some constriction of blood vessels is taking place. People can learn to mitigate this through meditation and other relaxation exercises. Just a thought.
I too have had vision problems with anxiety. I have just recently begun to have panic attacks while driving. I thought it might be my eyes so I had a eye exam done and they changed my glasses prescription. (slightly) Its one of the 1st things that happen when I feel anxious. Everything gets blurry and I do see floaters sometimes. Its a horrible feeling. I have not tried any drugs. Trying to figure it out myself. Some days in the car good...some bad. That is the only time I feel like this.
Good advice above, and do you get bad headaches after the vision problems clear up?
You might want to see your eye Dr for some testing. Yes, anxiety can cause many strange symptoms but it's always best in my opinion to rule everything else out first.
