Effexor

I just started Effexor XR today (37.5 mg. for the first week and then up to 75 mg.) I was on Lexapro prior and it made me VERY SICK, with headaches and brain fog, etc.  Just wondering if anyone has had better experiences with Effexor.  Thanks!!

same here my only symptom is a little extra sweating glad ur happy man.

I'm on effexor xr (only 4 months now after being on Paxil for 4 years).  It's soo much better than Paxil - no weight gain, no sexual side effects...my only symptom is a little extra sweating - I can handle that :-)

ive been on effexor xr for 9 yrs, was on it for 7 then got off (WITH NO WITHDRAWS) but couldnt cope with anxiety on my own so after a yr later i been back on it for about another yr now and im gonna take it forever. i was on 17 medications this is the only one that has helped and its helps 99%.  im happy to say ill take it the rest of my life to feel how i do. good luck and i hope it helps you as well.
