Electric Shock Feeling through out my entire Body??

For as long as I can remember I have been getting what feels like constant shocks of electric shocks through my body, from head to toe. I never thought much of it until as of late. Lately I have noticed that I get shocked whenever I touch something like a railing or even running water when I wash my hands. Also recently I have been getting throbbingn headaches and always seem a little dizzy.... Somedays I feel like I have the flu too. My eyes are always dry and I have a real hard time sleeping but that even has been an ongoing issue. Any suggestions??
In the last few years I have been through a few very traumatic events causing physical injury and abuse mentally :/ Also as a result of these events I have been diagnosed with Insomnia, Depression and (unfortunately) Anorexia Nervosa. The only diagnostic that I am currently struggling with is Insomnia. I am under a great deal of stress due to some issues with family business. I am currently not on medication and I am trying to quit smoking.
Any idea on what I might be going through right now as well as any suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.
Thank You!
S.Z

I've been on meds for 20 years and had this a lot. I rarely notice it anymore though. I've mentioned it to my doctors in the past but they never really paid any attention to it. Maybe it has to do with the anxiety, like a split second panic attack or something. I don't know but after 20 years it's never gotten worse or caused any problems, hopefully yours will stretch out too so it doesn't happen as often.

I know the feeling well, it's like everything in your stops for a second or skips. I found it was usually related to Ativan. If I did not take it I would have that feeling, like a withdraw symptom, ring any bells for you?
