Feeling very depressed

Hi. I m 28yr male. I will try to mk it as short as possible. For the last two years I was suffering from some wiered problems. In june 2011, I felt dizzy and light headed for sm days. As it not stopped for many days, I contacted my physician who said it is jut lack of vitamin. The problem not resolved with multivitamin. Than I googled and thought it is brain tumor. I consulted a neurologist who said that it is nothing but anxiety. My symptoms were tightness in temple and some vision issue. After that I was ok fr 3 months and than the same episode started again. I was just not ok. No plroblem in reading or other day to day activities. Than I went to anothr neuro and requstd for mri. Went for an mri in dec 2012 nd every thing was fine. For next 5 months no problem. Mow again the same feeling. It is effecting my wrk. More I read more I feel I hv brain tumor. Pls let me know if a brain tumor can grow for 2 yrs with symptoms or it is anxiety. Pls help.

Anxiety can cause physical symptoms as well as depression.I t sounds more like anxiety than depression. Some physical symptoms of anxiety are muscle twitching, shooting pains in the head, neck and face, frequent headaches, dizziness, light headed, eye tricks, blurred vision, etc. If you want more info on anxiety go to www.anxietycentre.com. I hope this helps.

Your symptoms are real, regardless of the source/trigger.

You didn't mention taking any medication for anxiety.  You may want to check on that - watch out some of those drugs are so expensive they cause anxiety and depression in my view, and I have prescription insurance.  There are also meds for depression, and I think they can help with the physical symptoms - not sure but that may be all, but if the physical symptoms are reduced the mental will not have them to worry about.

Man I feel your pain I worry all the time as well with a number of symptoms I have been checked for many things.. All I can say is believe your results so far. The mind can damage you in so many ways. The trick is figuring out how to beat it. When I figure that out I am letting everyone know. Goodluck.
