Genitally focused anxiety?

23, male, scared. Two and a half months ago I had unprotected vaginal and oral intercourse with a girl I met over the internet. Immediately after I felt discomfort in my urethra that is still there. I cannot take it anymore. I can't believe I have done something like this and hope that it will go away soon. I have been tested for gono, chlamydia, hepC, hiv and syphilis. All of them were negative, but it was two weeks after the encounter that I was tested. I plan to get a full panel done at the 3 month mark. I have noticed that exercise keeps my mind off of it, but does not change the pain I feel.
1) Even though when I'm not stressed, I still feel pain. Does that mean it is not anxiety?
2) Could this be something that I will have to live with the rest of my life?

Hi.

Let it go. Accept that you're dealing with an inordinate amount of anxiety that is focused in your genitals because you feel guilty, concerned or worries about your action. You are healthy, physically..not mentally. Acceptance will be your best friend. This will subside in the next month or so once you accept it.

Hi .   Ginjuicy i like ur comment you absolutely right .. Anxiety and guilt feel cause penis burning ... My penis is burning  for 7 months now burning became less ... How long lasts this burning? Pls hlp me

Thanks for your answer Life! I have been working with a Urologist for the past two months on the issue. He has given me a urine test, Blood test, and others listed below. The last thing he wants to do is a cat scan. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thank you!

1) Urine test for Gono and Chlamydia. Negative for both.
2) B27 Antigen Test. Normal
3) Kidneys Ureter Bladder Xray. Normal
4) U. Urealyticum urine test. Negative
5) Cystoscopy. Found a Urachal Remnant but is normal.

If your having a urethra irritation then see your doc and have it swabbed tested. Could be a simple urinary track infection. Dont wait 3 months if your infact having this issue. If your not having any white puss discharge, thats a good sign you dont have any std like gono.
