Great attitude! :) I have acheived comfort from several different things, and I use them on a choice/as need basis. Here's my list of 'battle stategies': walking outside, bathing, nature sounds, zen relaxation (google that), meditation, chanting, prayer, reading religious books of my choice (usually the Bible for me), spending time with people who 'feel good' to me (like my mom), I find piano music to be particularly soothing for some reason. The point is that you can't rely on just one thing, you need choices because you never know what you will feel like doing from day to day. If you find cooking relaxing, include that, whatever makes you feel good. Some people like to get in the garden, or go out with a camera and take pretty pictures. I have found that any sort of creative activity is relaxing: I like to draw, even tho im not good at it, it's fun and takes my mind off things. The key is distraction: you dont want to think about how bad you feel, so replace that with something that feels good. 'Comfort food' is good too, like icecream or chocolate. Best of luck to you! :)
