My nephew was out getting his face painted, while the other kids were being painted, he got pale, had to sit down, and once he walked outside, passed out for a few minutes with a blank stare. What seems odd is he had felt this way before when getting his face painted, a year or two back. He is 10 now and has a fear of clowns. Could the face paint bring on an anxiety attack like this at the presence or site of face paint? His cousin, who already had his face painted, rode to the hospital with him, and the sight of him made him light-headed again. He's had school letters painted on him before, as well as other stuff like that, but to be around white faced kids caused him to faint.
He's to have tests run next week, but his dad and I feel like it couldn't be allergic, he only had a little paint on him. He fears clowns, so could the sight and smell of the face paint trigger an anxiety attack to where he, gets pale, passes out, has a blank stare, headache, and not remember parts of the happening?
Thanks for any help!
