Heart Anxiety help?

to start off not sure why this all started, but it just did.  A year or two ago idk why but i started paying attention to my heart beat.  The first year wasn't bad but this year has been awful, i have been experiencing Heart stings, palpitations, shortness of breath and Low heart rate (which usually causes me to panic).  I am 16 and i swim every day for 2 hours, eat healthy, and only drugs/medication i have ever taken is vyvanse for Adhd. I have told my parents about me feeling like my heart beat is low/weak and that i get dizzy and anxious from it, so i got a EKG done. (came back normal)  Im not sure what to do, im pretty sure its all in my head but it stresses me out and i just want to know if anyone else has had this issue and what you did to fix it.

Your heart knows what it's doing, so trust it to do it's thing. You'll be fine. And by all means, no more checking your pulse.

This site's archives are full of people with anxiety about their hearts.  The simple answer to fix it is, stop doing it.  If you can't, get a therapist and figure out why you're holding onto something that's making you unhappy and isn't productive or enjoyable in any way.

Stating Paxiled's message alternatively, Normal people don't check their heart all day. You are a normal person. Therefore you should not ever be checking your heart, not even once a year.

if you are unable to stop after thinking about what we have read, then follow his advice. Perhaps a hypnotist could help you too, in the way they are able to get rid of people's problems who have fear of flying.
