Heart Results Stress

Hello

I went for a stress echo on Thursday.  I am turning 60 and I think that is why the Dr sent me.  I also am overweight and have high blood pressure. Lately I sweat a lot with exercise.  I was so anxious about the test that my BP went really high and they weren't going to do the test.  I finally got it down and they did the test.  They managed to get my heart rate up to the 140 beats they wanted.  I am awaiting the results.  Monday was a holiday here.  My Dr told me to book a follow up in Nov but I haven't done it yet.  I was going to do it this week but today the office called and said they wanted me to call.  It was too late to call so I have to call tomorrow.  I know I will be awake all night now.  Why would they call right away?

I called and the nurse said he wanted to see me for a followup in a few weeks time. Not urgent.  I assume that measn the tests were ok.  They always want a followup.
I feel so much better.
