Hello people

Hi everyone, I've been on here for several months now and I know that anxiety comes and goes for different lengths of times. And I am currently going through some rough anxiety right now and I had a panic attack last night(symptoms included, feeling heat waves all through my body, feeling sick, having vision problems, and the occassional "what if" thoughts) And usually for me when I get an anxiety relapse it last anywhere from 3 days to a little over a week. I was just wondering about how long it lasts for other people. So my question is this, when you get stuck in anxiety mode, how long does it last? And how spaced out are your anxiety relapses? I usually can last anywhere between 1-6 weeks without feeling anxiety.

Hmmm not sure how to answer that. I don't have many full out attacks anymore but live in a state of high anxiety to the point of a fear driven life. I hardly go anywhere or do anything. I have been doing a program that has me to a point that I can say I used to be agoraphobic, but am taking baby steps to make that a word of my past. I work my own home business so the need isn't there to need to go places all the time so am making an effort to change that by expanding my territory daily. I have lived in my head so long with all the anxiety junk that goes with it but I feel like I am beginning to break free, getting out of my head and into my life, like the book title says.

Back to your question, I was probably on a monthly cycle of peaking for a couple of days.

It depends on what frame off mind i am in,when i get an attack it really depends on how my mind will react,for instance i can sometimes ignore the symptoms and be over it in a few hours,whilst other times i just convince myself that the symptoms are worse than wot they are and then they can last for days or maybe weeks.
